Link Radio launch at Hillhouse Court

Billericay Lions teamed up with Link Radio and Basildon Council to bring Link Radio to Billericay.

Founded in 1984 and based in Castle Point, Link Radio Trust broadcasts radio programmes tailored for the residents of residential homes.

In addition to receiving radio programmes, the warden in each residential home is able to broadcast local messages over the residents television sets. 

Link Radio is manned entirely by unpaid volunteers and broadcasts  24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Billericay Lions provided funding and project managed the first installation in Billericay at Hillhouse Court. The service is completely free to residents.
